For all of my life, I have been enamored with money: I love receiving it, I enjoy spending it, and I instinctively know I am meant to have it. Growing up, however, I saw the adults around me experience overwhelm, avoidance, and stress with their finances. They were unable to take accountability for their own financial decisions and didn’t realize their lack of financial knowledge. This resulted in a financial journey of fear, uncertainty, and unconscious embarrassment.

Of course, they wanted to be in control of their finances and make decisions from a place of confidence, but they just didn’t know how. They lacked the fundamentals to be able to manage their money responsibly, and did the best they knew how to do with the limited knowledge they had. They did not realize they had the power to choose a different path.

Making decisions from a place of fear and lack, they constantly felt stressed, anxious, and embarrassed. Instead of being able to speak rationally about money, they either argued or avoided talking about it altogether. This led them to believe that money would always be difficult, that they would always have to struggle financially, and that this was a normal way of life.

How was it that something that seemed so innate to me was such a struggle for the adults in my life? The stark contrast of how I saw money versus those around me was baffling; it got me curious and led me to pursue a formal education and a very successful career in finance. Over the years, it became apparent that the adults I grew up around weren’t unusual or unique - that so many other people have money issues as well, and simply don’t know how to make money easy.

I knew that my innate love of money and my practical financial knowledge presented a beautiful opportunity to help others improve their own relationship(s) with money. I knew I could help people break money patterns that are no longer serving them, and instead show them how to be in control of their finances and make decisions from a place of empowerment, confidence, and ease.

While we may experience moments of being pulled back into old ways, patterns, and habits, we must remember that we always have the power to choose differently. Instead of reverting back to a life of overwhelm, avoidance, and stress, we can commit to choosing another path - the path of empowerment, confidence, and ease.

By 1) consciously releasing mindsets that are not our own, 2) fostering a deep inner knowing of abundance to achieve our financial goals, and 3) learning how money works, we can experience the financial empowerment, confidence, and ease we have always dreamed of. These are exactly the 3 core pillars (mindset, manifesting, and money) I walk my clients through to create their Money Freedom Formula.
